Port Bouvard continues to be recognised as a Premier Sponsor and Partner of the Peel Thunder Football Club, the major sponsor of the Peel Thunder Junior Development Program.
The Port Bouvard Peel Thunder Rising Stars program develops the
region's most talented young footballers. This program allows
junior footballers from the Peel catchment zone (Metro and
Southwest) to enhance their football skills and immerse them in
football education.
The combined country and metro development squads have also given
the Club an opportunity to access some very talented players.
Players are identified at 14 years of age and by the time they have
reached the Colt's program they have been through the 15's and 16's
Port Bouvard Peel Thunder Rising Star Academy.
The Academy consists of day camps where the players learn to enhance their natural skills and knowledge on how to conduct themselves within the community and become leaders in their social networks.
The Elite atmosphere that Peel Thunder provides in partnership with Port Bouvard gives every child in the community the opportunity, support and knowledge to reach their goals and fulfil their dreams.
